On the 12th March 2021, Collaboration360 and Omega RE hosted an enlightening webinar on ‘Strong Female Lead’ that saw over 100 attendees from across the globe join in. A platform to encourage and share one’s experience in the Property and Construction Industry.
An incredible insightful session, covering the topic of workplace mental toughness, as well as an opportunity to dive into their companies’ people culture and the ongoing empowerment movement of women in the property and construction industry.
All attendees got the chance to talk about their personal experiences in working in a male dominated environment. This was not a Male Vs Female event and a positive focus on what women can do to help themselves succeed on their chosen path.
The event embraced vulnerability and encouraged those to lean into vulnerability and not to view it as a weakness. Not to be afraid about challenging the norm and being the much-needed role models to inspire future generations.
It was evident that the property and construction industry needed to work more closely with education providers to help unlock the barriers from some parent and teachers.
The property and construction industry has so many different areas which are perfect for both male and female and an important factor for many businesses to have a diverse workforce to challenge the norm.
